chasing stars
My sister asked me why i named my blog chasing stars. i have a blog with friendster which has the title hazy drift (http://hazydrift.blogs.friendster.com/) . i have that blog since the 23rd of July 2006. most of the entries i have with that blog were about frustrations, heartbreak and anger. with this blog though, i want to build dreams, find new hope and inspire people with good words. i tell you this is not easy. it is not my nature to be an inspiration to anyone (and i feel like laughing right now), but i could definitely try. who knows, this might lead me somewhere. if not, then at least i’ve tried.
i will chase my star, even if it eludes me, even if it does not want to be chased. now is the time to be more aggressive to stop giving in to someone but standing on my own and fight for what i believe in. it is time to make a stand, to take action, to participate in life and not just watch until it leaves me behind. it’s time to make a step forward, time for me to be that star. it’s time for me to face what i have been scared of most of my life…..change.
